PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation information management technique capable of gathering operation information even in an image forming apparatus incapable of sufficiently gathering the operation information due to the constraints of a memory amount or the like. SOLUTION: At the time of generating the operation information, the control part 110 of a slave image forming apparatus 200 reads a priority table TBL 226 stored in a storage part 120, determines whether or not a master image forming apparatus 100 corresponding to the priority is operated in the descending order of the priority, and transmits the operation information to the master image forming apparatus 100 determined as being operated. By setting the priority to the plurality of master image forming apparatuses 100, a more appropriate master image forming apparatus 100 can be selected as a transmission destination image forming apparatus.
