CHANNEL IMPULSE RESPONSE ESTIMATION

To estimate the time-dependent impulse response of a channel a continuous impulse signal such as an ultrasonic signal is transmitted and the corresponding signal received from the channel is sampled. An inverse of a matrix of the impulse signal is calculated and applied to the samples of the received signal.
