<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed light control unit at an inexpensive manufacture cost that can control the chromaticity coordinates of mixed white light. <P>SOLUTION: The mixed light control unit applied in a backlight module of a display apparatus comprises: a first light emitting unit driven at a first frequency and a second light emitting unit driven at a second frequency, wherein the light from the first and second light emitting units is mixed to produce mixed light; a light detector for detecting the merged light and generating a detection signal; a control unit for calculating the electric power of the first and second frequencies according to the detection signal, generating a first control signal according to the difference between the power of the first frequency and the power of a predetermined first frequency, and generating a second control signal according to the difference between the power of the second frequency and the power of a predetermined second frequency; a first driver for adjusting the power of the first frequency according to the first control signal; and a second driver for adjusting the power of the second frequency according to the second control signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
