PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a lever for coming-off prevention, and improve pull-out resistance of a modular plug while keeping the modular plug in small size. SOLUTION: In the modular plug 1 which is provided with the main body 2 which is adhered and fixed to the end part of a cable 4, and which electrically connects a device 7 and the cable 4 when being attached to the device 7, and with an elastically deformable lever 3 having a claw 3c for fixing in order to prevent falling-off of the main body 2 from the device 7, the main body 2 and the lever 3 are integrated via a fixed part 3a installed on a cable connection side of the plug 1. A projection part 3d is installed on a cable side of the lever 3, and by pushing the projection part 3d without large sizing of the plug 1 even if it is a type that the whole main body 2 is housed in the device 7, engagement of the claw 3c for fixing can be released easily. The end part of the lever 3 positioned on the side opposite to the connection side of the cable 4 is made capable of sliding on the main body 2, and it is appropriate that this end part contacts with the device 7 when being attached to the device.
