<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release efficiently the heat of an LED to the external without increasing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: In a light irradiating apparatus for emitting to the external the light of an LED 1 disposed in a housing 10, at least a portion of the housing 10 is made of a metal, and the LED 1 is so mounted on a metal substrate 2 as to fasten the substrate 2 to the metal portion of the housing 10. The heat generated from the LED 1 is so transferred to the housing 10 via the metal substrate 2 as to be exhausted from the external surface of the housing to the external. Especially, the heat radiating efficiency of the LED can be improved by adhering a rear surface 2a of the substrate 2 to an internal surface 11c of the housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
