PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase detection precision of a position of a movable body and apply a movable device for a pinball game machine even to the movable body operating in a complicated manner. SOLUTION: This movable device 36 for the pinball game machine for performing predetermined operation in a game region 7 formed on a front face side of a game panel 5 is provided with a driving motor 59, a rotary body 64 fixed to a rotary shaft of the driving motor 59 and rotatable integrally with the driving motor 59, an engaging part 88 provided at a position off from the center of the rotary body 64 and rotatable integrally with the rotary body 64, a power transmission member 65 forming an engaged part 92 with which the engaging part 88 can engage linearly and provided with a detected part 91 in the direction crossing the engaged part 92 orthogonally to reciprocate linearly, and a sensor 96 provided to output a detection signal of the detected part 91 to detect a position of the movable body 61 based on a signal from the sensor 96 at a point where a ratio of linear travel distance of the detected part 91 to a rotation angle of the engaging part 88 becomes the maximum.
