<p>A method of joining piping where two pieces of piping (200, 200) to be joined are joined by brazing, in which the two pieces of piping are brazed after discharge gas (G) from a burner (500) is introduced to the inside of the piping. Since the two pieces of piping are brazed together with the air inside the piping replaced with the discharge gas from the burner, an oxide film is not formed on the inner surface of the piping. This prevents problems, caused by forming of an oxide film, such as degradation in performance of an air conditioner and a failure of the air conditioner itself. Further, it eliminates need of bringing a nitrogen container to an installation place, need of discharging nitrogen gas to the inside of the piping prior to joining the piping together, and need of filling an outdoor unit etc. with nitrogen gas etc. Work for joining piping is not complex and production costs of the air conditioner does not increase.</p> |
