<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical sealing device with a further improved sealing function. <P>SOLUTION: A medical sealing device 1 for the sealing of a puncture hole in a vessel wall comprises an inner member 2 which is adapted to be positioned at an interior surface of the vessel wall, and an outer member 3 which is adapted to be positioned outside the vessel wall, the inner member 2 and the other member 3 being held together by a retaining member 4.
