<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storage type dye-sensitized solar cell superior in charge and discharge characteristics in comparison with a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The energy storage type dye-sensitized solar cell (ES-DSSC) 10 is provided with a cell part 24 in which a photo-electrode 12 and the counter electrode 14 are arranged in a first electrolytic solution 20, the first electrolytic solution 20 partitioned by this cell part 24 and the cation exchange membrane 16, and a battery part 26 in which an electric charge accumulating electrode 18 is arranged in a second electrolytic solution 22 of which the cation species is the same and of which the anion species is different. In this ES-DSSC 10, the photo-electrode 12 and the electric charge accumulating electrode 18 are electrically connected capable of turning on and off via a first switch 30, and the counter electrode 14 and the electric charge accumulating electrode 18 are electrically connected capable of turning on and off via the load 32 and the second switch 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
