PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane panel display device, having a tape carrier package (TCP) 2 and a printed circuit board (PCB) 1 connected by solder or the like, a manufacturing method thereof, and the PCB 1 for use in the display device, wherein connection reliability can be fully secured, while reducing the gaps between output pad groups 10 and between input terminal groups 20. SOLUTION: The TCP 2 has positioning holes 22 formed near both ends of input terminal groups 10, and inner edge parts of the positioning holes 22 are made with boring patterns 21 of metal layers in holes 22a piercing insulating films. The PCB 1 has output gap groups 10 arrayed in a line along an edge 1a on the side of a display panel 3. A linear fastening pad 11, extending from a position overlapping one boring pattern of the TCP 2 to a position overlapping the adjacent boring pattern 21 of the TCP 2, is provided on the PCB 1 corresponding to each area 13 between pad groups.
