PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high load transmission belt for avoiding problems of wear and heating by restricting the movement between a block and a center belt in the state of mounting the center belt. SOLUTION: The high load transmission belt comprises the center belts 3a, 3b, and the block 2 connecting upper and lower beams 11, 12 to each other via a pillar 13 and having grooved portions 14, 15 in which the center belts are mounted with the upper and lower beams 11, 12 and the pillar 13. On the grooved upper face and the grooved lower face of the grooved portions 14, 15, first protruded strip portions 20, 21 are formed in belt cross directions. In the center belts 3a, 3b, recessed strip portions 18, 19 are formed at predetermined pitches in the belt cross directions and fitted thereto, respectively. On the base of the first protruded strip portion 20 formed on the grooved upper face, the second protruded strip portion 22 is formed extending in the belt cross direction.
