PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately notify the end of FAX communication to a user of a key telephone set in a key telephone set comprising an automatic FAX switching function. SOLUTION: A master key telephone set 10 which accommodates one or more outside lines and a plurality of inside lines and comprises the automatic FAX switching function includes: a FAX communication end detection means F46 for detecting the end of FAX communication; and a FAX communication end notification means F47 for notifying the end of the FAX communication to a key telephone set 20 using a voice synthesized sound (audible sound) and a visible indication at the time of the end of the FAX communication.
