<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a seal-integrated separator without causing breakage of the separator. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a separator 140 for a fuel cell comprises steps of: forming a difference in level 170 on the periphery of the separator 140, an outer side portion of the difference in level 170 being smaller in thickness; placing the separator 140 in an upper mold 150 and a lower mold 160 and forming a mold space 175 between the difference in level 170 and the upper and lower molds 150, 160; and forming a sealed portion 260 by injecting a sealing material into the mold space 175 from the side of the difference in level 170. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
