PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cutter contributing to miniaturization, lightening and cost reduction by realizing a rotary blade for the rotary cutter furnished with a large shearing angle and sufficient strength by a simple structure and working and providing uniform and smooth cutting. SOLUTION: This rotary cutter is constituted of the rotary blade made of a rod body and a fixed blade having a rectilinear knife edge line, the rotary blade has a rotary blade knife edge line inclined in the cutting direction to maintain the shearing angle against the fixed blade knife edge line and a knife edge angle formed of a flank equivalent to an outside surface of the rod body and a rake face to be amain body to do cutting, the rake face is actually a flat surface and has a first rake face formed to the middle from a cutting initial stage and a second rake face connected to the first rake face on the rotary blade knife edge line and formed to a cutting later stage and a knife edge angle formed by the second rake face is formed to be larger than a knife edge angle of the first rake face at a point connected to the first rake face.
