PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air volume control method of an automatic air-conditioner for an automobile which controls the voltage between motors in a range not exceeding the maximum channel temperature of a driving element. SOLUTION: In the air volume control method of the automatic air-conditioner to control the voltage between motors and control the air volume of a fan by adjusting the gate voltage of a driving device, the relational data between the voltage between motors in a range in which the channel temperature exceeds the maximum channel temperature and the indoor ambient temperature is acquired in advance from the relationship between the maximum channel temperature specified in the driving element, the channel temperature and the voltage between the motors, and the relationship be the channel temperature and the indoor ambient temperature. It is then determined whether or not the channel temperature at the target value of the voltage between the motors set to obtain the predetermined air volume reaches the maximum channel temperature based on the relational data and the indoor ambient temperature input from the indoor temperature sensor. If the channel temperature exceeds the maximum channel temperature, the target value of the voltage between the motors is reset so that the channel temperature is not higher than the maximum channel temperature, and the voltage between the motors is controlled.
