<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information asset management support system for easily enhancing the security of information assets in general. <P>SOLUTION: The information asset management support system is provided with a classifying and selecting means for classifying all kinds of assumable information assets; an asset attribute selecting means for classifying the information assets according to storage location, medium and the like for every class of information assets; a vulnerable item display means for displaying on a screen whether or not there is a vulnerability regarding each of the information asset attributes; and an answer input means that, if there is a vulnerability regarding the vulnerable item, answers that there is. Risks assumed in association with the vulnerable item, the ranks of confidentiality/completeness/availability associated with the risks, recommended countermeasures, and examples are prepared in the data table of a computer. When the answering means is used to input an answer that there is a vulnerability, the rank of the corresponding risks threatening confidentiality/completeness/availability, the recommended countermeasures, and examples are read from the database for display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
