PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument equipped with a housing having an explosion protection zone used in a "capsule seal" protection type. SOLUTION: The explosion protection zone is formed by using a casting material having high compressibility at least partially therein, in the present invention. The casting material is thereby prevented from being separated from a housing wall part, and high pressure not allowed is precluded from being generated in the housing, when a volume of the housing in the measuring instrument is varied by a temperature change.
