PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence safely partitioning a container yard area and a chassis traveling lane, and used as a target for piling up in the yard area. SOLUTION: The fence 10 is constituted by a pillar part 11, and a fence part 13 partitioning the yard area and the chassis traveling lane in a form of connecting the pillar 11. The pillar part 11 has strength which cannot be easily broken even by contact with a container 12, and thereby can be installed sufficiently near the yard area, and both of the chassis traveling lane and the yard area can have enough space. A thickness of the pillar part 11 is thicker than that of the fence part 13, and the fence part 13 is not directly brought into contact with the container 12 and is not broken even when the container 12 is brought into contact with the pillar part 11. An upper part of the pillar part 11 is extended to the chassis traveling lane side, and can be used as the target when a transfer crane putts down the container 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
