PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely recover from carriage failure such as no feed, double-feed, and jam, and to stabilize the feeding of a paper after the carriage failure. SOLUTION: A blowing means for blowing air to loaded sheet paper to improve paper sheet separating property is controlled depending on a status of occurrence of the carriage failure.
