PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magazine display device used also as an advertisement device which can be utilized as a propaganda and advertisement means since advertisement contents which are located in an advertisement display section disposed at the back of a magazine rack become visible after magazines stored on the magazine rack of the magazine display device are taken away, and an advertisement method using this device. SOLUTION: The magazine display device to store the magazines for distribution is equipped with a pedestal 2 and the magazine rack 4 to store the one or more magazines 6, wherein the magazine rack 4 is equipped with a back section of the magazine rack to receive the back faces of the magazines 6 and a magazine holding member 5 to hold the magazines, the magazine rack 4 is disposed at the front of the pedestal 2, and the advertisement display section 7 which enables the mounting and the dismounting of the advertisement contents 8 is disposed at the back section of the magazine rack.
