ACOUSTIC ECHO CANCELLER, HANDS-FREE PHONE EMPLOYING THE SAME, AND ACOUSTIC ECHO CANCELING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable acoustic echo canceller wherein the processing amount can be reduced with respect to the processing amount over whole microphones, whereby a learning period over the whole microphones is decreased and which can easily cope with a change in a transmission characteristic of an acoustic space and provide a large canceling amount resulting in providing ease of listening and less cause howling or the like and to provide a hands-free phone employing the acoustic echo canceller and an acoustic echo cancelling method. SOLUTION: The acoustic echo canceller is characterized in to include: a tap length control section 12 that selects a shorter tap length into a longer tap length when learning the echo canceller per one microphone in the case of sequentially learning acoustic echo cancellers for a plurality of the microphones in time division; and an input sound selection control section 11 for sequentially selecting the microphones.
