PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of reducing waste paper caused by breaking of the paper due to occurrence of jamming between printer engines or erroneous input of number of pages of paper of blank printing at the second printer engine, and reducing processes of an operator for loading the paper when a roll of paper supply device is coupled thereto. SOLUTION: A printer controller is equipped with the printer that performs perfecting printing, spot color printing and magnetic toner printing by using the plurality of continuous paper printer engines and enables the printing by synchronously driving the plurality of continuous paper printer engines. The printer controller comprises a means for moving the plurality of printer engines synchronously performing the printing to be in an asynchronous printing mode according to the operation of an operator, a means for readily setting a physical paper length difference fixed value of developed data of a first and second faces provided between the first and second printer engines, a means for restoring them to be in the synchronous printing mode according to the operation of the operator, and means for preventing the breaking of the printing paper upon setting of the physical paper length difference fixed value.
