FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely processes for making semi-finished products by extrusion. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes car having motion drive unit and mounted with possibility of motion along guides in parallel to press axis; gripping unit arranged in car and having closing-opening mechanism. Guiding sleeve is mounted in car coaxially to motion direction. Said sleeve protrudes outside car and it has cone inlet portion and cylindrical receiving portion adjacent to gripping unit in the form of clamping jaws. Gripping unit includes pusher, gas distributing panels and three piston cylinders with double-side rods. One cylinder is axial; two cylinders are lateral ones. Axial cylinder is arranged in housing directly secured to pulling car. Rear rod of piston of said is provided with refractory tip. Leading rod of piston of axial cylinder may engage with pusher in car. Front and back cavities of axial cylinder divided by means of fluid-tight piston are mutually communicated through ducts of hydraulic distribution panel, forced to surface of housings. ^ EFFECT: lowered length of removed waste material of extruded product. ^ 3 cl, 8 dwg |
