<p>The present invention relates to method and apparatus for interfacing for querying a device between various applications operated on a home network and a library to ensure their compatibility. In a method for querying a device on a home network according to the present invention, a control application calls a function of a library for querying a device or a list of devices on a network, and the library checks individual devices and writes a list of the individual devices or detailed information on the device in a location that an input argument accompanied by the calling points to, thereby delivering a list of devices or detailed information on a device to the control application.</p> |
