PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation of a holder strip applying device 20 for hooking a label 5 or the like on a commodity. SOLUTION: An attachment 700 is used for the holder strip applying device 20. The device 20 uses a holder strip sheet 600 including a plurality of holder strips 1 arranged side by side to each other and each having an insertion part 2 and a holder part 3 or a socket part 15 provided on both ends of a filament part 4 and having at least one of the insertion part 2 and the holder part 3 or socket part 15 or its near part fixed by a connecting bar part 24 with keeping them in parallel. The attachment 700 is provided with a holder strip control plate 710 extending from a side surface 501 of the applying device 20 above the top face 504 of the holder strip applying device 20, and part of the holder strip control plate 710 is provided with a connecting bar control means 507 for controlling an arrangement path 506 of the connecting bar 24 of the holder strip sheet 600.
