The present invention relates to a machine for processing unpolished rice to form ditches on an outer layer of the unpolished rice, so that while boiling or cooking, m oisture c an b e d elivered t o a w hite r ice 1 ayer o f t he u npolished r ice through the ditches and the unpolished rice can be cooked soft, keeping nutritive elements of the outer layer of the unpolished rice. The machine of the present invention comprises a conveyer belt (20); a vibrating regulator (30) to distribute the unpolished rice grains evenly on the conveyer belt (20); a roller (40) provided over the c onveyer belt (20) to have a gap with the conveyer belt (20), through which the unpolished rice grains manage to pass; and a laser beam generator (50) provided over the conveyer belt (20) to form ditches (3) on an outer layer (2) of the respective unpolished rice grains. |
