PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform continuous printing of DPOF or the like, while suppressing battery consumption by suppressing the total operation time of an electronic camera to be short. SOLUTION: In a print system in which the electronic camera and a printer are connected, the electronic camera comprises a transfer means for transferring image information to the printer, a reception means for receiving print end information for each page transmitted from the printer and a power control means for stopping at least a part of power supply of the camera, after the transfer of the image information and restarting the power supply, after the reception of the print end information; and the printer is provided with a transmission means for transmitting the print end information for each page at the printing of the image information.
