PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil blend preparation system which can efficiently blend heavy oil bases. SOLUTION: A plurality of branch pipes 210 each of which connects at one of its ends with one of a plurality of base oil tanks 10 which store heavy oil bases and is provided with a regulation valve 211 and a flowmeter 212 collectively connect at their respective other ends with one end of the main pipe 220. The other end of the main pipe 220 connects with a storage tank 400 storing a fuel oil blend and provided with an agitator 410. The storage tank 400 and one end of the main pipe 220 are connected together through a circulation line 230. The main pipe 220 is provided with a static mixer-equipped pipe mixer 300 positioned downstream of the circulation line 230. Thus, it is possible to markedly shorten the mixing time necessary to prepare a fuel oil blend of a uniform composition, which results in efficient preparation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
