PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading and recording apparatus for establishing the compatibility among downsizing, image print accuracy and reading accuracy. SOLUTION: The image reading and recording apparatus includes: an original paper feed means for feeding an original; a recording paper feed means for feeding recording paper; a drive source for driving the original paper feed means and the recording paper feed means; a print means for printing the recording paper; an image read means for reading image information of the original; and a carrying path which is used for the original and the recording paper pass in common.
