摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of a torque transmitting device and to easily reduce its size and weight. SOLUTION: This torque transmitting device comprises a clutch portion 51 for transmitting torque between rotating members by receiving pressing force, a differential screw mechanism 53 for converting rotary input into thrust, and applying the pressing force to the clutch portion 51, and an electric motor 55 implementing rotary input. The differential screw mechanism 53 is composed of a driving screw body 109 axially movably rotated, engaged and supported by a rotating driving shaft 113 at an electric motor 55 side, and a driven screw body 111 engaged with the driving screw body 109 and axially unmovably rotated and supported, and the driving screw body 109 is axially moved by screwing rotation of the driving screw body 109 and the driven screw body 111 to apply fastening force to the clutch portion 51.
