PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package of a photosensitive printing plate capable of protecting a photosensitive layer of the printing plate by shading and keeping dry and in addition protecting it against physical external force. SOLUTION: A predetermined number of bundled photosensitive printing plates 10 are vacuum-packaged with a wrapping member 12 comprising a light-shielding and dampproof sheetlike material formed into a bag. Further, the printing plates 10 are prevented from shifting from one another to protect a photosensitive surface 10A from getting damaged by the vacuum-packaging. A cushioning member 14A placed to correspond to the entire surface 10A also protects the surface 10A against damage. In addition, the cushioning member 14A is unified with the wrapping member 12 to facilitate the positioning of the cushioning member 14A with the photosensitive surface in wrapping the predetermined number of bundled photosensitive plates 10 with the wrapping member 12.
