PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent for removing a thermosetting resin or its precursor deposited on a mixing or discharging apparatus for injection molding which is used for manufacturing various thermosetting resin molded products such as casings of electronic products and automobile parts, which is excellent in detergency and has a low risk of inflammation and few adverse effects on the environment and human health. SOLUTION: The detergent contains a cyclic compound of formula (1) (wherein R is CH<SB>2</SB>or O; and R' is an optionally substituted alkylene group) such asε-caprolactone as a cleaning component.
