摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for semiconductor sealing whose cured material has an effective electromagnetic wave shielding function and shows good moldability.

SOLUTION: This resin composition for semiconductor sealing contains a spherical sintered ferrite particle having the following characteristics (a)-(c); it contains not greater than 5 ppm soluble ions (a), its particle diameter is in the range of 10-50 μm (b), and its crystal structure by X-ray diffraction shows a spinel structure (c).
