PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data lines of a liquid crystal display panel from increasing in load capacity or having variance. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel has: an counter substrate 10 superposed on a portion of a driving substrate 1 applying an electric field to liquid crystal; and a display portion formed by charging liquid crystal between the two substrates, wherein the driving substrate 1 has: a plurality of driver connection terminals 2C which are formed on one side of a peripheral region where the counter substrate 10 is not superposed, and electrically connected to corresponding data lines among N data lines DL led out of the display portion to connect a data line driver applying a voltage imparting an electric field to the liquid crystal according to a video signal; and a circuit 3 for inspection which is formed in a peripheral region on the opposite side from the plurality of driver connection terminals and arranged apart from the N data lines DL and not electrically connected although the circuit 3 for inspection is a portion of a circuit for inspecting the data lines.
