<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which prevents that replenished toner directly reaches a development sleeve, etc. when the toner is low- or un-charged and by which stable image output without texture seaming/scattering even when copy is repeated for a long period of time or when use with less toner consumption of toner extends to a long period of time in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the developing device equipped with a developer carrier, a plurality of developer stirring members arranged in the horizontal direction of the developer carrier, a partition member provided between the developer stirring members, a connection path formed on both edges of the partition member and for loop back of the developer and a toner replenishment means for replenishing the toner from the edge of the developer stirring and conveyance member and which forms an image by visualizing an electrostatic latent image of the image carrier by two component developer consisting of the toner and carrier, at least a part of wall surfaces of the first developer stirring part which replenishes the toner is made movable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
