PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharging device capable of reducing satellite to stably discharge liquid droplet. SOLUTION: The liquid droplet discharging device is provided with a pressure generating chamber which expands or contracts by the action of a pressure imparting means by a drive signal and a liquid droplet discharging head containing a nozzle communicating with the pressure generating chamber, expands or contracts the pressure generating chambers by applying the drive signal to the pressure imparting means to eject liquid droplets from the nozzle. The drive signal has expansion pulses for expanding the pressure generating chamber and contraction pulses for contracting the pressure generating chamber subsequent to the expansion pulses, wherein the expansion pulses have a pulse width of 0.7 AL to 1.3 AL (AL represents half the acoustic resonant period of the pressure generating chamber), while the contraction pulses have a pulse width of 0.3 AL to 1.5 AL.
