PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prophylactic or therapeutic medicine for diseases or conditions, diabetes mellitus, immunologic diseases, etc., capable being ameliorated by inhibiting dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV). SOLUTION: The prophylactic or therapeutic medicine for diseases or conditions, diabetes mellitus, immunologic diseases, etc., capable being ameliorated by inhibiting dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV) comprises a cyanofluoropyrrolidine compound represented by formula (I) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt or its hydrate as an active ingredient.
