摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a control cylinder in a vehicle suspension system having a form that liquid chambers of a plurality of suspension cylinders are connected to a plurality of liquid chambers of the control cylinder respectively. SOLUTION: Respective liquid chambers of four shock absorbers are connected to the four liquid chambers 70-76 of the control cylinder 48. The four liquid chambers 70-76 are formed by fitting a piston assembly 50 in which three pistons 60-64 are connected by connection rods 66, 68 to a cylinder housing 52. Connection grooves 102-112 are formed on the portions where the cylinder housing 52 is fitted to each of the three pistons 60-64 at stroke end of the piston assembly 50 and the liquid chambers at both sides of the pistons 60-64 are communicated with each other. Even after the piston assembly 50 arrives at the stroke end, the shock absorber is lightly operable and the control cylinder 48 can be miniaturized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
