METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A HOLE

The hole production process produces a hole (7) in a component (1), e.g. a diffuser (13). This is done by using a laser at pulse lengths varying between standard and ultra-short, solely in the region which is to be removed, thus influencing through flow and/or outflow behavior. The ultra-short pulse lengths achieve the required precision.
