FIELD: metallurgy, mining and coal industries; belt conveyors. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed roller has hollow cylindrical body, axle with bearings and sealing members fitted inside cups installed in end faces of body. Sealing members are made in form of pack of rings manufactured of elastically deformable different-density porous material containing lubricating liquid. Sealing members are installed on axle with wave-shaped surface in longitudinal section in place of fitting of sealing members. Bottoms of cups are pointed outwards. Cups are provided lock-rings on axle and fastening members installed on seat surface of contact between cup and roller body. Sealing ring of material having higher porosity can be placed in pack between two others of lower porosity. Inner diameter of each sealing ring can be 8-12% less than outer diameter of axle in place of ring fitting. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of roller in operation, prevention of ingress of dirt and dust, reduced friction owing to delivery of lubricating liquid to rotating surface. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
