The truck has a load maintenance system (18) comprising a strap (19) to enclose an outer peripheral surface (21) of a load (4) to maintain the load on a base part (3) of a chassis (2). The part (3) is folded with respect to the chassis to take a vertical position oriented towards the top. A gripping part (7) is formed from an upper tube (9) having a handle (11), and slides in a lower hollow tube (8) integrated with the chassis.
