PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of smoothly switching a selected image in less sense of incongruity. SOLUTION: In the digital broadcast receiver (1) for receiving a digital stream (Wb) subjected to inter-frame interpolation, channel selection sections (2, 3) designate one of channels to instruct reproduction of contents (VS, AS), contents reproduction sections (4, 6, 11, 17) reproduce the designated contents (VS, AS), and contents output sections (12, 11, 18, 17) output reproduced first contents (VS (P)) until second contents (VS (C)) can be reproduced when receiving a reproduction instruction of the second contents (VS (C)) of the second channel during reproduction of the first contents (VS (P)) of the first channel.
