PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kiln for ceramic art capable of easily degassing a furnace and allowing the air to easily flow into the furnace with respect to a baking furnace comprising an upper door for opening and closing an upper portion of a furnace main body. SOLUTION: This kiln for ceramic art comprises the furnace main body 2 opened at its upper portion, the upper door 5 rotatably connected with an upper portion of the furnace main body 2 at its one end, and vertically oscillated on one end as a fulcrum to open and close the opening portion, a stay 6 rotatably connected with a side wall of the upper door 5 at its one end 6b, and extending toward a side wall 2b of the furnace main body 2 at the other end 6c, and a projecting pin 7 projecting from the side wall 2b of the furnace main body 2, and kept into contact with an edge end 6j of the stay 6 to be axially slid. The other end side of the stay 6 has a first notch portion 6f engaged with the projecting pin 7 at an opening position of the opening portion 3, and one end side of the stay 6 has a second notch portion 6g engaged with the projecting pin 7 at a space position having a prescribed space S between the opening portion 3 and the upper door 5.
