PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teletext data storage method for improving the display quality of teletext data even when received pages of the teletext data include error data codes. SOLUTION: The teletext data storage method sequentially executes: a first step of discriminating whether or not data lines are written at a first time or second and succeeding times into a page memory in the case that the data lines of the received pages are decoded and written in the page memory, and setting a capture permissible value of the data codes stored in the page memory to a first setting value when the writing is executed at the first time, and setting the capture permissible value to a second setting value higher than the first setting value when the writing is carried out at the second and succeeding times; a second step of counting the number of data codes on the data lines not being data for expressing parity errors as the number of captured data; and a third step of replacing the data codes of the data lines being the data for expressing parity errors with data codes for blank spacing, storing the replaced data to the page memory when the number of the captured data is the capture permissible value or over, or aborting the data lines when the number of captured data is less than the capture permissible value.
