PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger and its manufacturing method capable of reducing costs by improving productivity and reducing its weight, by integrating a heat exchanger main body made of metallic material and a headers made of synthetic resin. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger is composed of the heat exchanger main body 10 made of metallic material, and constituted to be opened at its both end portions and to have a hollow portion used as a fluid passage, the headers 20, 25 made of synthetic resin and respectively mounted on both end portions of the heat exchanger main body communicatably with the fluid passage, and connecting members 35 formed on the pre-treated heat exchanger main body and faces of the headers by injection molding to integrate the heat exchanger main body and the headers.
