PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply member 4 for a low-pressure discharge lamp surely and easily contacting an external electrode 3 of the low-pressure discharge lamp 1. SOLUTION: The power supply member 4, aiming at an electric contact by holding the low pressure discharge lamp 1 provided with a current conduction layer on external end part of a tube-shaped glass lamp container 1 as an external electrode 3, is fixed by pinching a surface of the external electrode 3 from both sides, and made to have such a structure that the surface of the power supply member 4 contacts the external electrode 3 with two or more of contact parts.
