<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the trends of a group of sentences under the consideration of a modification relation. <P>SOLUTION: A modification relation analyzing device 100 is configured of a document input part 10, a morphemic analyzing part 11, a syntax analyzing part 12, a syntax analytic result data storing part 13, a retrieval formula input part 14, a modification relation extracting part 15, a modification relation sort part 16, a modification relation frequency counting part 17 and a modification relation display part 18 or the like. The modification relation display part 18 contrasts the modifying section and modified section of the modification relation, and displays the frequency, structure and sentences or the like.
