PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer to use a print paper P curled by the curl set capable of conveying a print paper P after being cut while the paper is sufficiently curl-corrected over the entire longitudinal direction even when a curl correction device is provided on the upstream side of a print unit 4 and on the downstream side of a cutter 26. SOLUTION: Before a next cut scheduled part in the print paper P is cut, curl correction is performed to a portion in a vicinity of both sides in the paper longitudinal direction of the cut scheduled part in the print paper P, and the curl correction is performed on an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of the print paper P to be conveyed to the print unit 4 after the cutting. Alternatively, before the next cut scheduled part in the print paper P is cut, the curl correction is performed on a predetermined area in the paper longitudinal direction including the cut scheduled portion in the print paper P.
