PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent paper feeding failure by supporting front ends of recording sheets at an appropriate angle without forcing a user to perform additional operation even when loading the different types of recording sheets with different width dimensions on a paper feed tray, in an image forming device. SOLUTION: A slit 34 is provided on a recording sheet back face plate 31 in the width direction of the recording sheets P, and a fitting projecting part 37 engaged with the slit 34 and a back face plate engagement part 38 engaged with the recording sheet back face plate 31 are provided in a recording sheet guide member 32. When the recording sheet guide member 32 is slid to a paper feed roller side and the fitting projecting part 37 overpasses the end edge of the slit 34, the recording sheet guide member 32 abuts on the recording sheet back face plate 31 on the top face of the fitting projecting part 37. A portion in the vicinity of the abutted portion is separated from the recording sheet back face plate 31 by a distance corresponding to the height dimension H of the fitting projecting part 37, and a backward tilting angle of the recording sheet guide member 32 is enlarged. Due to this, an abutting angle of the recording sheets P with respect to a recording sheet support member 25 becomes small, and the recording sheets P are smoothly sent out.
