PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament produced from a polyamide resin and having excellent strength, transparency and drawability. SOLUTION: The filament having excellent strength, transparency and drawability is obtained by using a polyamide resin produced by the polycondensation of an aliphatic diamine containing pentamethylenediamine as a main component and a dicarboxylic acid containing adipic acid as a main component.
